I can't say enough about White Eagle. The level of hospitality is unparalleled. Every single interaction with a member of the staff was cheerful, helpful, and displayed their joy in working here. The resort offers many accommodations for activities, and the cabins are great. We stayed in Timber Jay and the updated kitchen made cooking a blast. Please consider White Eagle for a getaway. It's only 8.5 hours from Chicago, and I'll be back for sure.
I've been coming here for, years with my youth group. I grew up coming here as a student, and now 5 years as an adult. I've loved it every year. It is absolutely beautiful, and the cabins are spectacular. It has a very homey feel.
As a repeat visitor to White Eagle Resort, I can confirm that there is a lake and it is glorious.

7 of us stayed there memorial day weekend 2015, very clean and comfortable accommodations, staff was very helpful and friendly. Look forward to staying there again sometime. 2016 So our group stayed there again this Memorial weekend, fishing was slow but we still had a great time. Outstanding owners and staff. They really made us feel welcome and did everything they could to make our stay a great one. My dad has a hard time getting around and they provided a golf cart for him which was a big help for all of us for him to get around. Ultra nice cabin and well furnished with everything you could ask for. Great views of the lake off the deck while grilling and kicking back.
