This is our third trip to Pehrsons Lodge. Every visit has been a fantastic experience. The staff is TOP NOTCH! The cabins are very clean and comfortable. We will be back soon!
This is our second year here and we love it. Our extended family takes over the Vermilion Chalet for a week and it is the perfect combination of togetherness and personal space. The kids older than 2 go to the Camp Twain in the mornings to give the adults some space. We do dinner together in the dining room downstairs. There is laundry for about five dollars a load and a fully equipped kitchen, just add groceries. The staff is incredibly helpful and include the owners and their kids. There is something for absolutely everyone to do on or near the lake, with plenty of equipment and all of it in good condition. They pay attention to the boats on the water, and if you get into trouble, they get you out. I cannot say enough good stuff about this full service, high quality escape. Also, it feels like it is isolated, but a ten minute drive or less brings you to a grocery store, a family owned pharmacy, an efficient hospital, and a cute little downtown.
Wonderful resort that our family has been visiting for about 20 years. Look forward to the week up north at the lodge every year.
The perfect place to relax and enjoy the lake! The staff at the lodge are extremely friendly! We hired a fishing guide (Doug Knor) and caught Walleye, Bass and Blue Gill all in a few hours. The lodge has many sailboats and motorboats to take out and explore the lake. There is also a fun little beach that the kids would play at for hours! Everything is walkable on the property.
