Stop by for the forth of July celebration, you will love this Lake Vermilion tradition
We attended the Fourth of July fireworks show by boat, and it was quite a good show, considering it seemed to be mostly run by amateurs and funded by donations. There were probably 200 boats offshore in 2017, the weather was great, and the fireworks were furious. A state or municipal show is definitely paced better, with bigger ordinance, but Polley's Resort must've spent considerable coin to acquire the amount of civilian firepower let loose. Definitely would attend and donate again if I'm at Lake Vermilion on the Fourth another year.
Attended their revered Independence Day celebration with my girlfriend and her family. Had an absolute blast. There was a potluck going on, which was delicious, can't say that happens every day though. The resort is incredibly rustic and homey, everyone can feel like they belong.
Went to Polleys Resort for their fourth of July celebration. The potluck is always wonderful, friendly people & never disappointing firework show.
Great service at the gas dock. Off sale beer and booze too.
